Boulder is home to the main campus of the University of Colorado the states largest university. In January 2010 Boulder was named one of the Top 25 Destinations in the U.S. according to TripAdvisor. Lonely Planet has named Boulder the #7 Top US Travel Destination for 2012. December 2011.
